11 Years Collecting Socks for Montreal's Homeless
Our 2025 campaign has launched! / Notre campagne 2025 est lancée !
11 Years Collecting Socks for Montreal's Homeless
A big thank you to Sam Watts of Welcome Hall Mission and James Hughes of the Old Brewery Mission for inviting me to speak on their show.
This November will be Stepping Up's 11th campaign of collecting socks for Montreal's homeless population, and we are hoping to make it our best year yet!
It is time for you to talk to coworkers, your students, church or organization about collecting new socks for Montreal's less fortunate.
A new pair of socks keeps feet dry, keeps feet warm, and helps keep people healthy.
Let's step up and make a difference.
An amazing early start to this year's campaign. Lower Canada College (LCC) just finished doing their first "Socktober" sock collection. I am so moved and thrilled by their donation of 2266 pairs of socks. Bravo!
Stepping Up would like to thank all of our donors, our volunteers, the schools, our partners, and the businesses that stepped up to support us in 2024. With your help, we were able to collect nearly 15,000 pairs of socks as well as a truckload of clothing for the homeless.
Without you, none of this would have been possible. Even though our campaign is over, please continue to support Ricochet, St. Michael's Mission, and any other organization in need.
Homelessness is not just a Christmas event. People need your help 12 months of the year. Charity doesn't take a vacation.
